Seeming Very Real!!!
After a few stressful weeks chasing solicitors, doctors, hospitals, disclosure bureau, employer, Kuwaiti embassy and anyone else who would listen, not to mention a few visits and many stops around London, I finally have my work visa, my travel visa and lots of documents with expensive stamps and pretty green ribbons on. In short I can now live and work in Kuwait, naively I had no idea how much it was going to cost me to sort out all the paperwork and do the medicals (but I least I now know I'm clear of Malaria and Syphilis!) I've just been sent my travel itinerary for Kuwait, so on the morning of 31st August my adventure begins (Business class of course!) Seeing that email, knowing that my flights are booked and that I'm being met at the airport to be whisked off to my new apartment, has made it all start to sink in. My next post will be from Kuwait.
